Data processing using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

As part of our services, we use artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for information, assistance, and user experience personalization purposes.

1. AI Chatbot on WhatsApp (“Ego”)
Conversations with our virtual assistant "Ego", accessible via WhatsApp, may involve the automatic processing of personal data provided directly by the user, such as:

• name and surname
• data relating to orders or reservations
• preferences or requests sent via message

This data is processed to provide personalized assistance, retrieve information on orders or reservations, and facilitate communication with our customer service.

2. Legal basis for processing
Data processing via AI is based on:

• performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. order support)
• legitimate interest of the owner in improving the user experience
• any explicit consent for particular treatments

3. Automated decisions
AI does not make decisions that produce legal effects or significantly impact you without human intervention. Otherwise, we always ensure you have the option to request human intervention, express your point of view, and challenge the decision.

4. AI-generated content (images and graphics)
Some visual content on the website or social media channels (such as illustrative images, artistic renderings, or product mockups) may be generated using artificial intelligence tools . Such content is used for creative, promotional, or descriptive purposes but should not be construed as actual photographic representations of the product or service, unless otherwise specified.

5. Data security and storage
Data processed via AI is protected using appropriate technical and organizational measures. Conversation logs are retained for the time strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and in accordance with internal retention policies.

6. Rights of the interested party
In relation to data processing using AI, the user can exercise the rights provided for by the GDPR (Articles 15-22) at any time, including:

• right of access,
• rectification,
• cancellation,
• opposition to treatment,
• limitation,
• portability,
• right not to be subject to significant automated decisions.
